TCR V β 7.2 Also called TCRBV7S2

V β 7 is a multimembered subfamily of the T cell receptor. V β 7.2 is expressed by 0% (V β 7.2 del. /V β 7.2 del. haplotypes) to 5.5% (mean 1.5%) of peripheral CD3-positive lymphocytes in normal blood.

Clone: ZIZOU4 Isotype: IgG2a Mouse The ZIZOU4 antibody recognizes the human TCR V β 7.2 allele product. A genetically determined insertion/deletion- related polymorphism of the TCRB locus, including the functional V β 7.2 variable gene segment, has been described. Thus, the expression of the V β 7.2 allele product may not be expressed in some individuals (V β 7.2 deleted/V β 7.2 deleted haplotypes).

TCR V β 8 Also called TCRBV8S1 and S2

V β 8 is the human variable β 8 chain of the T cell receptor. It is expressed by 2.6% to 5.1% of peripheral CD3+ cells in normal blood. V β 8 is the target of Staphylococcal Enterotoxin E (SEE). This sequence is also referred to as TRBV12-3, TRBV12-4 (based on the IMGT gene nomenclature).

Clone: 56C5.2 Isotype: IgG2a Mouse The 56C5.2 antibody recognizes V β 8.1 and V β 8.2 (YT35 and PL3.3 sequences). Other V β 8 sequences are believed to be pseudogenes.
