Also called TCRBV5S1 V β 5 is a multimembered subfamily of the T cell receptor. V β 5.1 is expressed by 4.2% to 7.2% of peripheral CD3+ cells in normal blood. This sequence is also referred to as TRBV5-1 (based on the IMGT gene nomenclature). TCR V β 5.1

Clone: IMMU 157 Isotype: IgG2a Mouse Immu157 recognizes the V β 5.1 (HBP51 sequence) member of this subfamily. V β 5.2 and V β 5.3 (PL25 and 12A1 sequences) are not recognized. Recognition of other members of the V β 5 subfamily has not been found, but cannot be formally excluded.
