V β 13 is a complex subfamily of the T cell receptor. V β 13.1 is expressed by 1.8% to 3.3% of peripheral CD3+ cells in normal blood. This sequence is also referred to as TRBV6 -5, TRBV6-6, TRBV6-9 (based on the IMGT gene nomenclature).
